Dr. iur. Monika Guth Eichner was born in 1977 and graduated from the Universities of Basel and Lausanne. After various traineeships in law firms, at courts and in-house, she was admitted to the bar in Basel-Stadt in 2006. In 2009, she completed her dissertation in the field of debt collection and bankruptcy law.
Professional development
In addition to working as an attorney, she served as extraordinary court clerk at the Social Insurance Court of Basel-Stadt until the end of May 2008. In 2008, she joined the firm of Simonius & Partner and she has been a partner since 2013. Dr. iur Monika Guth Eichner also serves as a judge on the Basel-Stadt Criminal Court.
